WESTMINSTER DRUG AND ALCOHOL ACTION TEAM OPEN EXHIBITION 2007
A challenging exhibition displaying work from service users of the many treatment programmes in Westminster.
This exhibition features artwork and creative writing from individuals who have participated in some of the many treatment programmes that are on offer in Westminster. The artists that have contributed to this exhibition have all used a range of services made available by Westminster City Council to help them deal with substance misuse in their lives. The artists have reflected on what their work means to them, and how the services in Westminster have affected their lives.
Addiction is a debilitating way of life, and tackling it requires determination and continued support from skilled professionals. Westminster City Council and partners are committed to providing the best support and services for individuals who want to overcome their addictions. The artwork on display is a powerful reminder of the dedication that individuals, and those around them, show to manage drug and alcohol addiction.
