FOUNDATION ART EXHIBITION 2008 - 25 November 2008 - 29 November 2008

PAST EXHIBITION:  FOUNDATION ART EXHIBITION 2008

25 November - 29 November 2008

United Westminster Schools: The Grey Coat Hospital Foundation encourages our schools to work together and this exhibition is one way of helping them to do that. Art work in all our schools is of a high standard and the SW1 Gallery will provide a professional showcase for our students' talents. Most of the work is by sixth formers and many of their "blogs" will be available at the exhibition.

Please come and enjoy the achievements of the students from United Westminster Schools:

Emanuel School

Sutton Valence School

Queen Anne's School

The Grey Coat Hospital

Westminster City School

The Grey Coat Hospital Foundation: The Foundation dates back to 1594 with the creation of Emanuel Hospital by Lady Dacre. As well as providing housing, education was provided for 10 boys and 10 girls. Over 400 years later, the site has become the Crowne Plaza hotel in Buckingham Gate, but two of the Foundation's schools are close by: The Grey Coat Hospital and Westminster City School.

The Foundation is a registered charity and supports its schools and their students in numerous ways. It is unusual in containing both independent and state comprehensive schools. This enables it to facilitate co-operation and exchange between the sectors.
