Cordelia Weedon

In 1996 Cordelia completed a degree in Photography at Wolverhampton University having previously attained a teaching qualification. Since then she has used both skills to achieve a career centred on photography, with her time divided between community projects and commercial shoots. Since 2000 she has been a part-time project worker at Photoworks Westminster in Paddington, an organisation that works with different community groups on tailor-made photographic projects.

Since leaving Wolverhampton University, where she returned to be a tutor for two years, Cordelia has received many bursaries, some to work with community groups and others to explore and develop her own photographic work, not only in this country but abroad in places like Cuba and Russia. Her photographs have been shown in numerous group exhibitions, been published in many books and magazines and are in a number of corporate and private collections.
